Every tournament fits one of six formats. The rules are public, the structure is the same every time, and the lobby is organized by format so you always know what you're entering.
FORMAT 01
Single market day, 9:30 AM → 4:00 PM ET. The DraftKings of trading — fast, high-energy, watch your screen all day.
FORMAT 02
Monday open to Friday close. The most accessible format — check in once a day, no screen-staring. Ideal for new players and members.
FORMAT 03
Full trading month. Skill-heavy. This is where serious players prove they have a framework, not just a hot pick.
FORMAT 04
Themed by earnings week — e.g. "Big Tech Week" when AAPL, MSFT, GOOG, AMZN, META all report. Hype-driven. Marketing gold.
FORMAT 05
Two players, direct challenge. Configurable 1-day, 1-week, or 1-month. Built for trash talk, friend rivalries, and creator vs. follower matchups.
FORMAT 06
Full quarter, 10 stocks, one rebalance allowed at the midpoint. Limited slots, premium prize pools. Year-end "Champion of Champions" invitational from quarterly winners.
SIX ENTRY TIERS
Any format can run at any tier. A tournament is labeled by both — like "Weekly Champ · Low Tier" or "Monthly Marathon · Championship Tier."
The entry fee goes 100% to the prize pool. The platform fee is separate, shown clearly at checkout, and is how Trend Champs makes money. No rake from the pool. Ever. This isn't a marketing line — it's how the platform is structured. Read the Terms of Play.
THE PLAYER JOURNEY

See every open tournament. Filter by format and tier. Each card shows the prize pool, time left to enter, scoring window, and entrant count. Pick the one that fits.

Two charges show clearly before you confirm: the entry fee (100% to the prize pool) and the platform fee (to Trend Champs). No hidden cuts. You see both numbers before clicking.

Pick your stocks from the approved universe within the rules of your chosen format. Portfolio locks at the start of the scoring window.

Once the window opens, the live leaderboard updates in real time. Track your rank, your picks' performance, and the gap to the prize pool cutoff.

Final standings lock at the close. The prize pool distributes automatically to the winning ranks based on the tournament's payout curve.

Winnings appear in your wallet. Withdraw to your bank or use the balance to enter the next tournament. Standard 1099 issuance on annual winnings over $600.

To keep tournaments fair, fast, and free from manipulation, only stocks meeting every one of these conditions are eligible. The universe is updated weekly and visible to every player.

## Pattern
A stock has rallied off prior lows, then consolidates for 4–10 weeks in a tight sideways range with decreasing volatility and drying volume.
## Entry
Buy the day price breaks above the high of the base on volume ≥ 40% above average.
## Stop
Day's low of breakout candle, or 7% below entry — whichever is tighter.

## Pattern
Confirmed uptrend pulls back to 21-EMA or 50-SMA on lighter volume than the prior advance.
